I am currently pursuing a degree in History from California State University at Fresno. I already hold an associate's degree from Fresno City College. History is an important subject, as avoiding the mistakes of the past can aid humanity in making better decisions. Along with history, I also enjoy editing essays. I have a good grasp of language mechanics and grammar, which can be difficult for some students. Understanding how to word sentences and how to create a main thesis statement is an important skill in academics. One of my very favorite courses to tutor is in German language. I went through three years of German classes during high school and I have continued my studies throughout my college career. I plan to receive a minor in German upon graduation. My trip to Germany in 2015 was one of the best experiences of my life. I can help with reading and writing in English and in German as a tutor. Tutoring and school are large parts of my life, but I enjoy extensive hobbies outside of my academic interests. I love hiking and I have spent a lot of time in Yosemite National Park. I enjoy playing video games and I love to experience travel, both internationally and domestic.
